the best of Colombo, Sri Lanka

i promise this would be the last entry about Sri Lanka *fingers crossed*  and trust me, i'll put more photos, make it pretty short, simple and informative.

ok, here we go

the Independence Square & the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) at Colombo 7 area or also known as Cinnamon Gardens. Bandaranaike was the 4th Prime Minister of Ceylon. Laksala gift & souvenir shop also at this area, and Laksana have their own products under their brand name such as tea, coffee, cinnamon etc.

a Sri Lanka version of White House called Town Hall, nearby Dawatagaha Jumma mosque and ODEL Shopping Mall (tourist can get 5% discount shopping coupon). the famous Dilmah Tea here at ODEL is quite cheap, at LKR 140-170 (only around RM 4-5 each).

shopping at the Main Street can be quite challenging due to the hot weather. but here, you can find very cheap cinnamon and Saree.

there are lots of statues in Colombo. but i'm quite interested with this one.
A sculpture of a local rickshaw runner carried an English guy
in front of Sri Lanka Port Authority and Grand Oriental Hotel (GOH).
#deep

most of shops and convenience store in Sri Lanka accept US Dollar including this Food City

besides Raja Bojun Restaurant, we also had our buffet lunch at this Indian Summer Restaurant

and... the Galle Face Beach
